August 2010 THE BORDER and THE AGE OF EXPLORATION were chosen out of 700+ entries to be accepted into the semi-finals of the NexTV Television Writing Competition. We were the only writers who had more than one entry chosen.

May 2010A professional Industry Reading of THE BORDER (hosted by Greenstem Productions) was held at the DeMille Theatre on the Culver Studio lot. Several industry professionals expressed interest in the pilot.
April 2010A requested revision of BURN was turned into the MovieHatch Production Studio.
January 2010Out of 500+ entries, BURN was selected as one of 10 finalists in the Making Movies Feature Film Competition. Due to excellent reviews from multiple professional judges in the film industry, the script was optioned by MovieHatch Productions in New York City!
October 2009THE BORDER was optioned for 1 year by independent film studio Greenstem Productions. All rights have since returned to Haunted Pen.
December 2008 BURN was voted Best Sci-Fi Thriller Pitch on PitchQ.com
September 2008 Out of nearly 1000 entries, BURN takes third place in the Screenplay Competition at the International Horror and Sci-Fi Film Festival.
